| Urban America’s funniest couple, David & Tamela Mann, is keeping busy. They are currently on the road as Mr. Brown and Cora in Tyler Perry’s latest stage smash, “What’s Done in the Dark”” which is touring through November. For the couple that got their start singing with Kirk Franklin & the Family, their time has finally come. They are laughing their way into America’s heart. The couple just wrapped shooting with Angela Bassett on Tyler Perry’s sure-to-be-hilarious upcoming movie “Meet the Browns” which will hit movie theaters in spring 2008.
The Manns founded TillyMann Music Group back in 2004 and saw Tamela’s debut CD “Gotta Keep Movin’” debuted at #3 on Billboard magazine’s gospel album sales chart as the single “Speak Lord” rose
to the Top 10 on the gospel singles chart in 2005.
