The energetic and talented ladies from Detroit known as Ramiyah has returned back to the stage after a four month break. Congratulations are in order to one of the group members Tracy and her husband Kevin Bryant for the birth of their daughter, Niya Lee. The group took the break for Tracy to enjoy her first child. "It has been a wonderful experience." says the new mother. The other members, Sherise Staten and Stephanie Bonner, continued their college courses at Eastern Michigan University and the University of Michigan, respectively. Now it's time for the Ramiyah to get back on the road and their mission.
It started when hit production company, PAJAM (Paul Allen, J Moss and Walter Kearney) put the young ladies together and groomed them to reach the masses with their stunning presentation and message. Thus getting the attention of Music World Music headed by Mathew Knowles (Destiny's Child/Beyonce) who later signed the group. The beautiful ladies then steam rolled into the industry with their first album, "Ramiyah". Coming out the gate Ramiyah made a number of major performance appearances which for a new gospel artist was unusual. The list included the Trumpet Awards, Stellar Awards, Soul Train, Showtime at the Apollo, and many performances opening for Destiny's Child and Beyonce. Another major opportunity was their cameo appearance in the movie, "The Fighting Temptations" singing one of their songs called "Waiting".
Now also in the studio with PAJAM preparing for their sophomore album, Ramiyah is very excited about the platform that they have established and their next album. So look out for Ramiyah in your city turning it out. For more information on Ramiyah and their schedule contact
