For more than a decade, Brent Jones has been the pilot of the internationally known inspirational movement known as the TP Mobb. These 18 beautiful (now young adults) from all over southern California, are the originators of the urban choir craze in America. They have epitomized the concept of bridging the gap between the church and the streets.

Featuring “Goodtime” a feel good mid-temple jam that soon crossed over to mainstream radio and TV. The goodtime video was one of the most requested videos on bet’s mainstream programming”

2002-beautiful- featuring “don’t wait till midnight” led by R&B sensation Coko of SWV, and title cut “Beautiful”. “Beautiful” was also featured on wow gospel 2003.

Gracing the airwaves right now is Brent’s breakthrough independent praise and worship album “heaven in the room”, which features the friendship Baptist mass choir. The “Underground” CD and DVD have created a loud buzz in the industry. Although Jones’ songs on this project are Sunday morning killers, he didn’t expect “heaven in the room” to do as well as it did.

Currently is preparing to release his junior cd entitled “On Vacation”. This project will include a full live concert of Sunday morning choir songs that choirs will be singing for years to come. And keeping with his urban flavor, “on vacation will feature 5 songs that keep the tradition of the tp mobb R&B/hip hop style.

Brent diligently serves, under Byron Cage, of as the minister of music to the youth at the Ebenezer Ame Church in fort Washington, Maryland.
