Alene Isaac Denson

...a servant of the Lord - is a dynamic and awesome woman of God.  Her Christian walk demonstrates her commitment to the faith community and concern for humanity.  She serves at  Concord Missionary Baptist Church in Dallas, Texas where she is very active and assist in developing leaders and members guides for Sermon Based Group Bible Study for Concord’s weekly H2H (house to house bible study).

Reverend Denson works faithfully in ministry for Jesus Christ.  She is an ordained minister and during the life of her ministry and work in Christ she exhibits exceptional stewardship and has served in different capacities with various churches in Christian Education, Church Administration, Ministerial Liaison and Laity Leadership, Missions, and Women’s Ministry.  Reverend Denson has facilitated leadership and women’s conferences and retreats.  She has developed Christian Education curriculum in various ministry areas and taught classes.   

Reverend Denson has served as speaker for numerous Conventions, Women’s and Leadership conferences.  She has preached for revivals, Women’s Day services, and a host of other services for churches and other organizations throughout the country.

Reverend Denson’s community, professional and civic involvement is extensive. She has chaired, facilitated, and led roundtables, served on panels.  She has held membership in:

  • National Council of University Research Administrators
  • National Association of College and University Business Officers
  • Society of Research Administrators
  • American Association of University Women
  • The International Federation of University Women
  • Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc.

Reverend Denson received the Bachelor of Science degree from Wiley College, Marshall, Texas in Business Administration and Accounting.  She received the Master of Education degree from Georgia State University, Atlanta, Georgia in Educational Leadership.  She has studied at Emory University, Candler School of Theology and currently pursuing further study in educational leadership and theology.

Presently, Reverend Denson is the District Director for Dallas County Community College, Dallas, Texas.  She is a native of Natchitoches, Louisiana.  She is the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Lee A. Isaac, Sr.  She is the tenth of twelve children and mother of one daughter, Ms. Gabrielle Denson. 

Reverend Denson has traveled to the Middle East, Europe and Africa.  She has been privileged to lead Holy Communion at the Garden Tomb in Jerusalem, Israel.  She has received numerous awards and honor, and is a profound preacher, teacher, anointed woman of God, and gifted Servant Leader.
